Yoga for Beginners Series

Workshop series cost; $90
In addition to the workshop series, each participant will receive a one hour private yoga session with Karuna O'Donnell ($125 value). If you are just beginning, beginning again or want to refine your your Yoga practice, this Workshop Series is for you! Karuna will guide you in building your Yoga practice from the foundation. Each posture will be taught in a way that allows you to develop a vital, healthy, safe and mindful Yoga practice.
In this series you will;
- Explore the foundational postures of Yoga
- Learn fundamental principles of alignment
- Learn to effectively use breath techniques in you practice
- Learn about the 8 Limbs of Yoga
- Receive guidance in the creation of a safe Yoga practice
- Build your strength
- Increase your flexibility

- Build your confidence
- Calm stress
- Focus your mind
- Have your questions answered
Each workshop will build upon the previous one. Participants are required take the entire workshop series to absorb the many facets of starting or beginning again with a yoga practice. This workshop was designed for you to feel prepared and confident heading into your Yoga classes.
Restorative Yoga Series
Led by Tara Jackson
Sundays September 17 and 24
2:00- 3:30 pm
Workshop Cost; $20 per session, $35 for both session
This restorative practice will utilize props to release into poses. The class will include hands on assists to increase relaxation. This 90 minute gentle and supportive class will ease your mind and body.

Workshop Cost; Sliding scale $5-20. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Restorative Yoga & Space to Feel;
a workshop for those who are experiencing or have experienced reproductive loss and infertility.

The sacred and healing art of belly dance was made by women for women, as a way to celebrate and strengthen our form. Come shake, shimmy, and sashay stress away! In each workshop, we’ll get in touch with our true nature through dance, meditation, and pelvic floor-work. All comfort levels with body based practices welcome. Through mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation we will allow our self- love to deepen. Come experience this introduction to healing sacred belly dance as it was originally intended: to enrich our sense of self, adventure, and worth. Great for beginners, all levels welcome. Limited hip scarfs provided, so if you have one, bring your own!

THE YOMA METHOD
Created by martial artist and certified yoga instructor Mecca Nelson, THE YOMA METHOD is a physical workout to affect spiritual work inwards. Nelson conceived the program especially for pre-teen to adult women.

THE YOMA METHOD TECHNIQUE
Nelson’s own daughter inspired her to teach THE YOMA METHOD to a younger audience. The challenges that young girls face, from physical safety to emotional distress, are in abundance. THE YOMA METHOD classes and workshops are designed to help them feel empowered, secure, and emotionally stable, all while having fun.
Students who enroll in THE YOMA METHOD classes are taught many techniques and physical practices to help achieve the following goals:
-Increased body awareness
-Practical knowledge of self defense
-Increased confidence and security
-Emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate intense life moments
-Self control and clarity of mind
