In the United States, systemic racism is hurting all of us, but it's killing Black and Brown Americans at alarming rates, with impunity.  If this scares, elicits anger, makes you feel guilty, uncomfortable, curious or you are in disbelief, join 4 Corners Yoga + Wellness faculty to watch the movie TILL. We will participate in a diverse community discussion on our deeply rooted untold American history.

No one wants to believe they benefit from systems that hurt other people.  It's much easier to pretend you don’t know.

For people who don’t know, or for people who do and care deeply about racial inequities and social injustices, the movie, Till, is a must see. It is an American tragedy of Mamie Till, an African American mother, her family, her only child, the young beautiful Emmett Till. It is also an American story about each of us and a country which allows the manifestation of hate and racism to divide the soul of American life today.

Session One: is to raise social consciousness about systemic racism. We open with a mindfulness meditation. We watch the first hour of the movie TILL (2.12.) and participate in a facilitated community discussion to generate reflection questions for session two.

4 Corners Yoga + Wellness holds a brave space to discuss important issues which impact all bodies.
