Why I practice:
The practice of yoga brings me a sense of inner strength and calm. It allows me to know myself better and extend myself and the world around me greater compassion. I love feeling more spacious, relaxed, and stable in my body after I practice yoga.
What inspires me:
Building community, seeing people have a positive experience of self-love and acceptance through the practice of yoga and breath work.
What I teach:
I teach Kripalu Yoga: a practice that emphasizes breath work (pranayama) and intentionally entering and releasing a series of poses (asanas) to strengthen awareness, raise energy (prana). One is guided to move mindfully, coordinating breath and movement, and connecting to your body.
